about me
Hi, it’s Nick. I am a 27 year old graphic designer born and raised in Hawai’i on the island of O’ahu but I am currently living in Portland, Oregon.
I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa in the spring of 2018. Since 2019, I worked as an in-house graphic designer creating work for a variety of industries including foodservice, retail, sign print, HVAC, and other small businesses in the Portland-metro area.
In college, I discovered a love for fiber arts beginning with crocheting and later evolving to rug tufting which blends my passion for fiber arts and graphic design.

Here are a few of my other interests outside of design:
• I grew up playing sports, so as an adult, I try to keep up with my fitness by going to the gym 3-5 times a week.
Throughout my life, I learned how to play the saxophone, flute, piano, and ukulele.
• I got my first handheld gaming system when I was 4 years old, and I’ve been obsessed with video games ever since.
• I find inspiration from queer art like drag. I am a big fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and I attend drag shows regularly to support my fellow queer artists.
